This course consists of 2 classes(Beginner Part 1/Beginner Part 2), covering the basics of Japanese such as hiragana and katakana that is commonly used in daily life.
*For returning students: classes were previously offered as “Beginner/Elementary.” They are now divided into ”Beginner Part 1/Beginner Part 2.” Students who have completed the former Beginner class should enroll in Beginner Part 2.
Target: Families of international students, research students, faculty/staff at Nagoya University, or the individuals themselves.
Duration: November 5th, 2026 (Thursday) – February 9th, 2027 (Tuesday)
Schedule: Every Tuesday and Thursday (23 Class sessions)

Class 2(Beginner Part2): 11:10 AM – 12:40 PM
